Who We Are

PixlPresser is a product of Silicon Harbor Labs, a subsidiary of The Baylight District Group, based in Los Angeles, California. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at support@siliconharborlabs.com.

What Data We Collect

We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide the service:

• Email address — when you create an account, used for authentication and account management
• Password — stored securely and encrypted by Supabase. We never see your plain-text password
• Usage data — we track how many compressions you've used to enforce free tier limits and manage your subscription
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or touch your credit card details
• Stripe customer ID — a reference ID linking your account to your Stripe payment record

What We Do NOT Collect

• Your images — all image compression happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API. Your files never leave your device and are never uploaded to our servers
• Browsing data or tracking cookies — we do not use analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or behavioral tracking
• Device fingerprinting — we do not collect device identifiers beyond what Supabase uses for session management

How We Use Your Data

• To create and manage your account
• To track your free compression usage and enforce tier limits
• To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe
• To respond to support requests
• To send transactional emails related to your account (password reset, payment confirmation)

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not share your data with anyone except the service providers listed below.

Third Party Services

PixlPresser uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — authentication and database. Your email and usage data are stored on Supabase's infrastructure. Supabase Privacy Policy
• Stripe — payment processing. All billing information is handled by Stripe and subject to their policies. Stripe Privacy Policy
• Vercel — website hosting and serverless functions. Vercel Privacy Policy

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed from our systems within 30 days. Payment records may be retained longer as required by law and Stripe's policies.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
• Portability — request your data in a portable format
• Objection — object to processing of your data

California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell personal information. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete your personal information, and to opt out of any sale of personal information (which we do not conduct). Children's Privacy

PixlPresser is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of PixlPresser after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
